LCSCA Mission Statement

The mission of the Lorain County Soccer Coaches Association is to establish a unity, a recognition, and a promotion of soccer for the soccer coaches of Lorain County. Our goal is to increase the overall knowledge of the game so that we can make the game a better, safer, more productive style of soccer. The association includes all Lorain County schools having varsity soccer programs.

Meetings

Meetings are held twice a year- the 1st Sunday of May and the 1st Sunday following the conclusion of the regular season.

- Lake Ridge Academy has openings for Boys and Girls Varsity Coaches
- Avon Lake is looking for a Assistant Varsity Girls Coach

The Lorain County Awards Ceremony was held Thursday, November 10 at Lorain High School. Congratulations to all the honorees. Visit the honors page for a list of all the winners.

Put the 2012 preview on your calander. It will be August 11, 2012. We are looking for guest teams from outside the county to join us. Preview forms can be found at Lorain County Preview Invoice.

I am the president of the Lorain County Soccer Coaches Association and I just wanted to send out an invite for our annual preview next season. The LCSCA is hosting its annual preview on Saturday, August 11. The boys side will play at Avon Lake and it looks like the girls side will be playing at Oberlin. With the short preseason next year, we were hoping to get more outside teams to join us, since it would be a good opportunity to get a look at different teams. You can bring a varsity and/or a JV squad to the preview. Each team plays three 40 minute games against three different schools. The preview usually lasts all day, but we attempt to keep a team's games either in the morning or afternoon. If you are interested, please email me.
